WHAT TO EXPECT
When you need to hire an attorney, we understand the process can seem daunting, expensive, and uncertain. At Sojourner Law, we strive to make your experience at our firm as easy as possible. Therefore, here is what you can expect when you hire us:

Schedule a free consultation on the phone or a video call.
We realize that your schedule is busy, so traveling to meet in person is not always possible. Therefore, our first meeting with you will always be on the telephone or through a video meeting.​
2.
Electronic signature to begin representation.
After you decide to work with us, we will send you our legal contract and confidentiality agreement to your email so you can sign both documents electronically on your phone, tablet, or PC​
3.
Pay your legal fee.
Our firm accepts all major credit cards, money orders, and cash. Payment plans are also available.
4.
Begin work on your case.
At this point, we will begin the collaborative process of gathering the necessary information for your case, and working through our checklist of evidence that is needed for your particular case. All information can be gathered electronically, through additional phone or video calls, and/or through the U.S. mail.
5.
Schedule an in-person meeting to sign all prepared documents.
When you have reviewed everything and are comfortable with the information as represented in your documents, we will then schedule a time for you to come to our office to sign and finalize your documents.
